Help Centre/Contact details shown to your clients

Contact details shown to your clients

In brief: Choose the email and phone your clients see on identity requests and verification pages.

Give clients a clear way to reach your firm about an identity check. Choose a shared inbox and phone number that your team is happy to publish to clients.

Clients see these on identity check emails, WhatsApp messages and their verification pages. The start page names your firm and explains what to bring. The finishing page also shows your contact details. Email addresses and phone numbers are tappable.

Add or change your details

  1. Open Settings, then Firm.
  2. Find Contact details shown to your clients and select Edit.
  3. Enter your client-facing email address and phone number, then Save changes.

You can also add these in the optional How can your clients reach you? step in the Setup Guide. Select Skip for now to continue without adding them.

If you leave them empty

Clients are told to contact your firm, who sent them the link. We do not substitute a platform support address or your personal account email or mobile number. You may supply just an email address or just a phone number.

Billing details are separate. Changing your billing contact does not set the contact details shown to clients. Your login email is not published automatically.

An individual client's personal details

To change a client's own address, open Overview → Details → Edit. Street, city, postcode and country use the client record first. Older profile data is used where a field is missing; the full formatted address is shown in Street only when no street lines are recorded. Enter each street line on its own line and select the country name. Saving updates the client record and keeps the older profile address in sync.

Find and edit a client record

A client's email, phone and address appear below their name on every tab, with copy buttons. Add email, Add phone and other missing-fact prompts open Details in edit mode. There is one Edit, Save and Cancel for names, addresses, contact details, assignments and services.

For a company, choose the contact person from its officers and owners, shown with their roles, or choose Someone else and enter a name. Legal form lives in Details too; overseas entities can record whether they hold UK land. Companies House personal codes are for individuals only.

A company's registered office, incorporation date, status and SIC codes come from its saved register record. A registered office supplied by the register is read-only and shows From Companies House with the date. If no register address is available, you can edit the fallback address. Trading addresses stay separate. SIC codes are read-only.
