Pass-aware onboarding

In brief: Request consented reuse of an existing Pass or invite a client to create one.

Certivus checks whether a person may already have a reusable Certivus Pass before you start a new verification. A match is only a suggestion: the person must approve every firm access request before anything is shared.

Requesting access

  1. Open the person's client profile.
  2. If Certivus shows May already be verified, choose Request access.
  3. The person receives a secure Pass request and can review the information your firm needs.
  4. When they approve, the profile updates to show that the existing verification has been reused. No fresh check is started by this step.

The request is available only to the firm owner and only for a named individual already being onboarded. It never reveals another firm's client records.

Inviting someone to Certivus Pass

The client overview also contains Send a Certivus Pass invite. Use it when a client does not yet have a reusable Pass or would prefer to complete a new verification. The invite dialog prefills their contact details and lets you track pending, completed, declined, and expired invitations.

What the individual controls

People can see firms that looked them up and every firm with active Pass access in Pass settings & privacy. They can revoke active access at any time. A revocation stops that firm's future Pass access; it does not delete the firm's own compliance record where retention duties apply.
