The client's side of an identity check, filmed on a phone, start to finish.
TruePersona is the brand name for Certivus's combined identity check
- AML screening flow. One request to the client, one consolidated result back to you.
Where you start one
- Client list → row action → TruePersona button.
- Client profile → header → TruePersona button.
- AML Check → if you already have ID-verified the client and only need a fresh AML screen.
What the client experiences
You send a unique tokenised link (`/verify/<token>`) by email, WhatsApp, or SMS. They open it on any device (phone preferred) and walk through:
- Welcome screen with your firm logo and an explanation of who's asking and why.
- Photograph of their government-issued ID (passport, driving licence, national ID).
- Live selfie / liveness check. (Once captured, this selfie becomes the client's avatar throughout the dashboard, visible on their profile header. Before the check completes, the avatar shows their initials.)
- Optional declarations (PEP self-declaration, source-of-funds).
- Done: they see a confirmation and you see the result land on the case page.
The journey is mobile-first, branded with your colours/logo, and no Certivus account is required for the client.
What the result contains
When TruePersona™ reports back:
- Identity status: confirmed / not confirmed / inconclusive.
- Document forensics: MRZ check, security feature checks, expiry, issuing country.
- Liveness score: 0-100, with a configurable pass threshold.
- AML screening: sanctions, PEP lists, adverse media. Each hit surfaces in the case for MLRO disposition.
- Audit trail: every screen the client touched, time spent, consent timestamps. Auditor-friendly.
The full report exports as a PDF from Client profile → Reports.
What happens if the client never completes it
The link is valid for the period you configure (default 14 days). After that it expires; you can resend a fresh link from the case page. Incomplete journeys stay visible so you can see how far they got, which is useful for chasing.
Cost
One TruePersona run = one identity credit + one AML credit, debited from your firm balance. Cost is shown in the confirmation dialog before you send the request. See Billing.
